Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 11, 2026

1. The Service

InitStack is an AI-driven architectural scaffolding tool. I provide a "Foundation" for your software projects, including database schemas, API structures, and project boilerplate code.

2. "Foundation, Not the House" Policy

InitStack accelerates the start of your project. Once the code is generated and exported, the following rules apply:

  • Ownership: You own the generated code entirely. You are free to modify, sell, or deploy it.
  • Responsibility: You are the "Engineer of Record." You are responsible for reviewing, testing, debugging, and maintaining the code.
  • No Hand-holding: I do not provide support for custom business logic or debugging of the generated codebase beyond ensuring a successful file export.

3. No Warranty (AS-IS)

The code generated by InitStack is provided "AS-IS" without any warranty of any kind. AI can make mistakes and hallucinate. I do not guarantee that the generated code is bug-free, secure, or fit for any specific purpose. By downloading the code, you accept all technical risks.

4. Payments and Refunds

InitStack uses Paddle as our Merchant of Record. Subscriptions are billed monthly. Due to the nature of digital "ZIP" exports and the immediate delivery of intellectual property, refunds are generally not provided once a project has been exported.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall InitStack be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the code generated by InitStack.

6. Governing Law

InitStack is a digital service operated by Timothy Yoong Jie Gen in Malaysia. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Upon future incorporation in Singapore or Canada, these terms will be updated to reflect the new governing jurisdiction.
